Thank you to everyone who attended the coffee chat today, January 30th. It was a nice opportunity to meet and catch-up with Owl community members. A special thanks to Stephanhi Klint for bringing coffee and pastries for the event.
At today's meeting, some important announcements were made that we'd like to share with everyone here as well.
First, and importantly, we extend our thanks and appreciation to Vivian Lizarraga and Leo Bonilla.
Leo has decided to resign from his role as PTA Executive Vice President. Please join us in thanking Leo for everything he has done to support and enhance the LEAD community.
Vivian has decided to step-down as PTA President and assume the role of Executive Vice President. Vivian has also been a tremendous support to the community and been dedicated to it's enhancement. Please join us in thanking Vivian for her time as President and wish her well in her new role.
Travis Morgan has been approved by the Board to assume the role of PTA President. Please join us in wishing him well in his new role.
PTA Budget
The PTA Budget proposal was reviewed and can be found below (along with other slides from the meeting).
Travis announced that the PTA general membership will vote on the budget at the February 19, 2019 General PTA meeting scheduled to start at 5:30 pm at the LGI.
Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting. Registered and paid PTA members can vote on the budget.
