Why should you walk to school? Walking together builds connections between students, families, and their environment. It’s an opportunity to teach and reinforce safe walking behavior. Beginning the day with a walk is a fun and easy way to get physical activity that kids need to be healthy. It also reduces traffic congestion. Research shows that physical activity like walking helps overall learning (Source: Active Living Research). Most importantly, it is FUN!
The Lead PTA wants to learn about how families get to school each day and gage interest in supporting a walking school bus for Lead students. Complete this survey to provide feedback.
