Our Mission
We are parents, teachers, families and community members supporting Lead Elementary.

The Lead Elementary Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to institute and sustain a close relationship between the parents, teachers, and students of Lead Elementary. The PTA creates and facilitates growth opportunities for our children within the home, school, and community. PTA provides assistance to teachers within the classroom settings, raises funds for educational materials and experiences, advocates school and family social interaction, and provides an unbiased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children. It is our belief that the team effort of a PTA offers the best possible learning environment for our children.

Lead Elementary PTA Goals and Objectives:

-
Promote communication between students, faculty, and parents.
-
Foster and enhance the educational environment.
-
Recruit volunteers and coordinate volunteer efforts for programs and projects that support and enrich the curriculum and educational goals for Lead Elementary.
-
Create and cultivate a sense of community amongst members of the Lead Elementary community.
Get Involved
Getting involved in PTA is a great way to enhance your child's education. Without parent help, our school won't have all the resources it needs to grow and thrive.

There are many ways to get involved:
-
Come to a PTA meeting. These are held throughout the year, usually following a Principal Chat. Anyone can attend an association meeting. Only Members can vote.
-
Join PTA and make your voice heard.
-
Join a committee to provide feedback and help to plan one of our many events.
-
Volunteer - parent volunteers are needed for many school and PTA activities to run smoothly, including picture day, field trips, family events, festivals.
