About the event

We are happy to support LEAD's 7th Annual Read-Across-America Fundraiser!

Each year, LEAD reaches out to the community in hopes to raise funds to purchase classroom library books, guided reading books, and book bags for our students. Each dollar donated to our school will go directly into classrooms and support students literacy and growth.

This year's goal is to raise $10,000 for the following:

  • 50 Hard covered books
  • 25 bilingual books
  • 2 class sets of magnetic letters
  • 1 class set of magnetic white board pages
  • 4 gigantic white board pages
  • Reading puppets
  • 40 read aloud books
  • Class set of Island of the Blue Dolphins
  • Hear Myself Read Phones
  • 20 Book Bins
  • 1-Year Subscription of Scholastic News for All of third grade and fourth grade
  • 400 book bags
  • Over 400 guided reading books
  • 100+ classroom library books
