The recent deaths of George Floyd and many others are tragic and have widely exposed the violence and racism experienced by the Black community.
The LEAD PTA stands firm in our belief that Black Lives Matter.
We acknowledge the pain in our community and the challenge of having difficult discussions on inequity and injustice with our children.
Know that our organization is built upon a foundation of inclusion, diversity, and community.
Below is a list of some resources that may help us all do the necessary work to address these challenges. We will also have an opportunity for further dialogue at our next General PTA meeting June 16.
